Services and rates

We provide services for three reasons:
1. We want to improve the way houses are built and operate.
2. We have years of experience and interest in the issues.
3. We understand how busy life and projects tend to get, where you might need a little extra support to make the decisions you’ll be most happy with.
We provide a wide range of customized consulting services (even beyond the ones listed below), specializing in a overview of the many inter-related considerations, which taken together can truly optimize a project’s effectiveness.  Additionally, we offer more focused services to work out details on specific recommendations, or give referrals for followup tasks.
Sometimes our conclusions are to “not do” something or delay implementation, or doing something on a smaller scale. A green project often means doing less (spending less money, using fewer resources, and using less time) to reach your goals.

Typical Process:
We’ll set up a time to discuss things you might do to “green your home” (often including a site visit).  I’ll listen carefully, ask questions and take notes; then compile my thoughts, additional research and recommendations into a report for you.  However, it’s really up to you what form this could take so that it will be useful for your priorities, your budget, and any level of time commitment.  Many of the options will save money, as well work to protect your home, your family and the environment – in addition to aligning your values with your purchases and actions.
